We didn't eat inside the restaurant, but we tried the cafe outside. It's very nice! The price is European standard so not so cheap, but the cake has very good quality, plus the view, I think overall it worth it. When you finish visiting the palace, this is a good place to take a rest and have cake with coffee. I recommend this one.

Delicious food with fancy presentation, but quite expensive++! 2 mian courses + 1 dessert cost us almost 900 TL (about 25 euro p.p. the highest we paid during our 2 week trip in Turkey.)

I had an enjoyable lunch here with a group of colleagues and acquaintances. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious, but the portions were enormous. I particularly liked the lentil soup. The best part of the restaurant is the amazing location within the Topkapı Palace Museum complex.

A truly great experience - have a delightful meal while surrounded by ancient grandeur that only a century ago was open only to the Ottoman elite. It’s pricy, but the experience is well worth it, especially if you manage to get a table overlooking the glorious Bosporus.

Interesting to end the Topkaki historical tour and eat a piece of history here at this restaurant. The same Ottoman sherbet was mentioned in the historical kitchen displays and served at this restaurant. Definitely recommended to complete the entire Topkaki palace experience.

Decent food located near Topkapi Palace. Their Iskender kebab was excellent, but other dishes shown including dessert were below average. I would suggest to read the reviews and pick a recommended dish.

While the food did not exceed expectations. I'd suggest people to go here more for the view. The restaurant gives a magnificent view of the Bosphorus where you can see many kinds of ships crossing. Truly a breathtaking view and the considering how the restaurant is not that expensive, it's well worth it.

This is an old restaurant that sits in the middle between Hagia Sophia museum and Topkapi Palace. Besides its long-serving history and beautiful views, the food was not half bad. I ordered their signature Konyali Kebab, which is slow cooked lamb, it was really tender and juicy, I just felt the portion size should be bigger. I also ordered Profiterole, it was fantastic and big but a bit too sweet to me. The servers can speak proper English which will be a bonus to many visitors, the price is not outrageously high. I paid 30 pounds for my meal, it's fairly acceptable.

After 5 hours of touring the amazing Topkapı Palace and hearing more about sherbert (the cold drink not the frozen treat) we stopped here for one and some ice cream. The mixed flavor sherbet was amazing! Pomegranate, ginger, rose water, and some other things I didn't catch. The modern serving containers were not exactly the same as the old school ones 😅. The pistachio ice cream was 4/5. Very creamy and delicious. Would I spend a lot of money to eat a meal here? Probably not, but it was a great place to recharge looking at the beautiful scenery and enjoying a treat before exiting the palace gates and heading back into the busy city.

Best restaurant in all of Istanbul! Situated in the beautiful Topkapi palace, surrounded by gardens and a lovely view of the Bosphorus, this place has it all. Dating back to 1800s, this place serves the food the Sultan ate and liked. Everything was delicious. We were given lovely drinks to start with that the Sultan used to like. We ordered manti which was AMAZING. The stuffed grape leaves were on of the best I've had. Then we ordered the roast lamb, chicken skewer, and kofte. All were superb. Dessert was a famous Ottoman sweet made with sugar and chicken apparently. It had a smooth taste. Finished with some good Turkish coffee.
