Our first lunch in Istanbul couldn’t have been better. The rooftop views at Seven Hills Restaurant are breathtaking — a perfect panoramic view of Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Bosphorus. The food was excellent, but what made the experience stand out was the hospitality. Eser took great care of us and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Friendly, professional, and genuinely kind. We spent so much time just taking in the view and soaking in the atmosphere. It was the perfect way to start our Istanbul trip. Highly recommend making a reservation and enjoying a long, relaxed meal here.

Seven Hills Restaurant, Istanbul 🕌✨ A visit to Istanbul feels incomplete without experiencing Seven Hills Restaurant. ❤️🇹🇷 The food was enjoyable, the service was courteous, but the real star of the show is undoubtedly the spectacular rooftop terrace. 🌅📸 From here, one can enjoy one of the most iconic views in the entire city, with the magnificent Hagia Sophia on one side and the stunning Blue Mosque on the other. Watching these two architectural masterpieces together from a single location is truly magical. 🕌✨ Located just opposite the beautiful Four Seasons Sultanahmet, this restaurant offers an atmosphere that is difficult to match. Whether you visit for breakfast, lunch, sunset, or dinner, the views alone make the experience unforgettable. 🌇💫 The rooftop provides countless opportunities for amazing photographs while allowing guests to soak in the rich history and beauty of old Istanbul. The combination of history, culture, architecture, and hospitality creates a very special experience. ❤️ ✅ One of the best rooftop views in Istanbul ✅ Direct views of Hagia Sophia & Blue Mosque ✅ Excellent location opposite Four Seasons Sultanahmet ✅ Great ambience for dining and photography 📸 ✅ Friendly and attentive service A place where you come for the food but leave with memories of one of the most breathtaking views in the world. 😊🕌✨ #SevenHillsRestaurant #Istanbul #HagiaSophia #BlueMosque #Sultanahmet #RooftopViews #IstanbulDiaries #TravelTurkey 🇹🇷❤️✨🕌📸

A Memorable Last Day Dinner in Istanbul On the final day of our 14-day Türkiye tour, my wife and I invited a couple who had become good friends during the trip to share a farewell dinner at Seven Hills Restaurant in Istanbul’s historic Sultanahmet district. Friends back home had recommended this restaurant for its rooftop location and spectacular views. I hesitated after reading online reviews calling it overpriced and even a “tourist trap,” but given its convenient location and the cold weather, we decided to give it a try. I’m very glad we did. The moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking panorama views of the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Marmara Sea. We were also warmly welcomed by a friendly gentleman, Ahmet Can, who took excellent care of us throughout the evening. We began with two classic Turkish starters: Mercimek Çorbası (lentil soup) and Çoban Salatası (Shepherd’s salad). The warm, creamy lentil soup was perfect for the cold evening, while my wife especially loved the refreshing salad. I also ordered grilled octopus, one of my favorites, while our friends chose the shrimp casserole, both served in traditional clay dishes that added a nice local touch. Everything paired wonderfully with crisp Turkish Efes Pilsener beer. For my entrée, I continued with grilled Turkish sea bass, while our friends tried Turkish pasta with red sauce. Our dinner ended with a glass of complementary Turkish apple tea and costed about 2,200 lira (around $50) per person, which felt reasonable considering the location and views. After dinner, we visited the rooftop terrace, where we enjoyed one last panoramic view of Istanbul and even fed flying pigeons, a simple but memorable ending to our trip. For us, it was the perfect farewell dinner: wonderful food, unforgettable views, and the company of new friends who made our journey even more special. If it’s your first time in Istanbul, Seven Hills is absolutely worth visiting.

Absolutely a YES for the experience. First of all the price. It is kinda worth noticing that the view and the service are both good enough for what I paid. Especially Tarik, the gentleman who nicely provided free hot Turkish black tea to my mum who’s in her diarrhea was pretty an expert. He gave a lot of suggestions for our order considering my wallet, which is so nice of him :) Then the meal itself. Flavors are good, colors beautiful and fresh, fish and meat are yummy, but I like the mushrooms the best. dessert may be so sweet for non-Turkish travelers but pistachio are quite great. Also the sight on the rooftop. Free cheese cubes for seagulls photographing is such a fantastic choice! Anyways, recommended.

This rooftop restaurant has an unobstructed view of the Blue Mosque and Sophia Hagia along with the view of the Bosphorous Straits. Other than the view, the food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. Ahmat Can and Caner were the best team to take care of our family. They were on top of getting us food and drinks. They kept the table clean by taking away the finished dishes and giving us fresh plates and silverware. We highly recommend this restaurant for the view, food, ambiance and atmosphere. The restaurant staff is very friendly and accommodating.

I had breakfast at Seven Hills Restaurant and it was an amazing experience. The view is absolutely stunning, with a perfect panorama of Istanbul that makes the meal even more special. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. What made the experience stand out even more was the excellent service. Sergen, who took care of my table, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the entire visit. He made sure everything was perfect and made me feel very welcome. If you’re looking for a great breakfast spot with one of the best views in Istanbul, I highly recommend Seven Hills Restaurant. Thank you, Sergen, for your outstanding hospitality!

WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE!!! The hospitality here is truly incredible. The staff genuinely try to seat you at the best possible table, and everyone is so kind, welcoming, and always smiling. Even though the place was full and guests were constantly coming and going, I never felt like it was too crowded or loud. And the view… absolutely WOW! On one side you have Hagia Sophia, on the other the Blue Mosque, and when you turn around — the stunning Bosphorus and even a view towards the Asian side of Istanbul. The food is fantastically prepared and served. I’ve seen some comments saying the place is expensive, but you have to understand that you’re not paying just for the food. Here you’re paying for the entire experience: the service, the VIEW, and a perfect setting for unforgettable photos that remain for a wonderful memory. For me, it was worth every lira! And the famous photo spot on the terrace is a separate area with no tables, so guests can freely take pictures from every angle. I was there with my dad, and the staff kindly offered to take photos of us together. There was no rush or pressure — he took amazing pictures, then gave us forks with small pieces of food to feed the seagulls, and captured a few videos for us as well, all on his own initiative. Special thanks to him, and to Hasan as well! Hope we see us again soon!

My Stay at SEVEN HILL HOTEL, Istanbul I had the pleasure of staying at SEVEN HILL HOTEL for 7 days, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality of the staff made me feel at home. A special mention goes to Fatima, whose kindness and care ensured that every guest felt welcomed and comfortable. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing a relaxing retreat after exploring the city. Breakfast was outstanding—delicious, varied, and served in a setting that is simply breathtaking. From the restaurant terrace, you can admire the iconic Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, as if they were part of your own back garden. The location of the hotel could not be better. It is within walking distance of Istanbul’s most important sights, making it the perfect base for discovering the city’s rich history and culture. SEVEN HILL HOTEL combines warmth, comfort, and convenience in a way that makes you want to return again and again.

If you're a tourist and just interested in taking a few rooftop selfies and don't have budget constraints, go for it. But otherwise, I would stay away. It all feels like a commercial machine. The free cheese on a fork to attract the seagulls for a picture. The card on the table asking to rate them on Google. It attracts a certain type of people. Nothing against them, just not my type or vibe. I do admit, the soup of the day (lentil soup) was surprisingly good 😋 Also: good view on the Aga Sophia, less so on the Blue Mosque 📸
