Sultan’s Inn

The hotel was awful for three stars. First of all, the rooms. When we’ve just came to the hotel, they offered us a room that had a really bad smell of smoke and sewage inside. We’ve asked for another one, although there was no smell, I couldn’t say that it was properly cleaned after last visitors. The hairdryer was very old and was overheating every 3 minutes. The toilet was constantly breaking no matter how many times I asked the staff to fix it. I found a stain on the sheets. The rooms and the hotel in general desperately need a renovation. The breakfast was served at a separate hotel, and was very poor. I don’t think their portions are enough to feed one adult. Moreover, one poor vegetable they’ve put in looked like it was there for one week already. Another point is WiFi. The connection was very poor and only worked on the first floor and lobby.

We have stayed there for in total ten days. Even tough we first booked five it was no problem whatsoever to book another five days once we arrived at the place. The rooms are average size and the beds are OK. The bathrooms are equipped basically, but you have to watch out, because both of our showers leaked a little bit... So better place a towel in front of it. The breakfast is pretty basic, but we were always happy to have it and didn't spend any more money on breakfast. The by far best thing about it is the rooftop terrace, with a great view over parts of Istanbul and the Sea. Why four stars? Because even tough it is far away from perfect, it was cheap! When booking directly at the hotel, we did pay 21€ per night for two people including breakfast and in my eyes that is a very good price!

This place is wonderful!!! A must stay. The staff are SO nice, the breakfast is awesome, the hotel is clean and there is a beautiful view from the top balcony. Also great location. If I come back to Istanbul I'll be staying here again. I also had a problem with the water, but I informed the staff and it was fixed within five minutes.

The staff is really what has me coming back this hotel has a great set of people , they are wonderful, attentive and always working hard to provide the best customer experience ! It is very well located in the city and the employees are so helpful and kind ! Everyone I've delt with during my 10 days stay was fabulous. Everything was of top standard , nothing too much trouble, the decor throughout was lovely , clean and well maintained and with excellent pricing. Mahmet on reception , as well as his college were all exceptional hosts and made our stay most memorable. We felt like home with thier genuine attention and care. I know how hard it can get sometimes, this isn't my first stay in Istanbul but let me tell ya , this staff is the best.

Good for a short trips in the city. Location is really good, in the historical center. The must visit places are very close. Souvenir shops, tourist agencies, laundry services are close too. Also, you can get the transfer to airports from agency that’s just in 2 min by walk from the hotel.Rooms are clean, but very tidy. Anyway it’s good option for their price. Breakfast are not really fresh, and the buffet is just okay. So i d recommend to get breakfast in the cafes nearby around.

Centrally located in one of the busiest areas in Istanbul, Sultanahmet, Sultan’s Inn is a quiet oasis and only a 10-minute walk from the world-renowned sites such as Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace Museum and Basilica Cistern. My room was small, efficient, and equipped with the essential features and appliances (i.e. small fridge, kettle, cups, toiletries, etc.), and most importantly, it was spotless and comfortable. This is a charming and affordable hotel, with exceptional staff, each of whom went over and beyond to make my stay in the city enjoyable. A special thank you to Mürife, who kept my room cleaned and stocked with fresh towels, and to Hakan, who graciously provided his support in sharing great tips on some of the best local, non-touristy restaurants, arranging a taxi to/from the airport, giving quick language lessons, etc. In the sea of hotels in the area that caters specifically to tourists, Sultan’s Inn is a unique gem that is most definitely worth staying in!

If you’re traveling under a budget this is you place, is a hotel but very cheaper. Highly recommend to arrive earlier, make check in and walk around. You will get many good pictures of blue mosque without tourists. Comfortable and clean. Front personal very helpful and they can care your belongings when you arrive early. Very well located, near to main buildings in Istanbul, many cats and dogs walking around they belong to the community. Near to the Ataturk airport, around 15-20min by taxi. Breakfast included, delicious Turkish tea and continental breakfast with egg and jam and fruits. Coffee and little biscuits also included. Be aware there is no elevators, good good food near to the Sultan’s Inn make sure there is a certified restaurant. Also is near to authentic Turkish bathrooms so you can schedule late at night and then come back to rest. Very friendly environment and also good terrace for start your day.

The price is really good for the location, just some meter far from The Blue Mosque. All the staff is so helpful and kind. Rooms are too small, I didn't have enough space to walk around, also to leave my luggage. The bathroom was good but the shower was little bit disgusting, there were some fungi. Also te internet was too slow.

Just go ahead and book the rooms!! Best location, easy access from and to the airport and to all the main tourist attractions. The reception can give you all the information that you need and the hospitality is amazing. Definitely a place that I'll stay again!!

It was awesome employees are nice but there is no elevator. The manager was very kind he helped me with the luggage. Breakfast is really simple and clean. Internet signal on the 3rd floor wasn't thag good But I enjoyed my time this place is close to everything and many attractions are around
