Dragon Restaurant Bebek

Istanbul has a verity of cuisines to explore. No doubt the #turkish cuisine is the dominant one but sometimes one looks around for a change. Dragon is a #chinese restaurant and is claimed to be the best in Istanbul. It has a cozy and pleasant atmosphere and the service is very refined. The food is good probably for Istanbul that has no many Chinese restaurants. However, if you have tried Chinese restaurants elsewhere then this will not be on the top of your list. For example the spring roll and prawn toast were soggy. The steamed rice was more of a sticky rice.

The food was amazing, the first time I went there I took the “Noodles with chicken” and a deep fried shrimp. It was one of the best food I ever tasted! The service is very friendly, but sadly they don’t speak English, luckily I went with friends that do. The atmosphere is perfect! You can see the Asian side of Turkey and it really feels like you are in a Chinese restaurant!

Did not stay. Why?? 4000TL for half a crispy duck, that's £80! 3500TL for a bottle of mediocre Turkish wine that is 600TL in the supermarket 2500 TL for beef dishes. Etc etc I have money, but am not willing to give it away for a view. Location is excellent, prices are exorbitant. Not for us.

Finally a good Chinese restaurant around Bebek. Beautiful location inside the Bebek Otel, and food is as authentic as one can find in Istanbul. Service is extremely friendly. Would recommend booking in advance if you have a large group.

Pretty decent halal chinese food but will cost you an arm and a leg. Be prepared. Located inside a hotel with its own view of the Bosphorus.

Everything was nice. It's not a place to just stop in even though we did and were very well received!! It's a bit hard to find good Chinese restaurants in istanbul!

It’s 2022 as you guys have a zero vegan option and base on fine dining the rice noodle with veggies you serve was an insult. Overcooked rice noodles with zero souce on the the top 3 piece of pepper pieces, I would feel ashame as a chef sending that plate for that price in a fine dining restaurant. Nobody will eat any veggie option if you serve them like this it was really a disappointment for me. You guys need to be conscious in 2022 put an option or pay an attention. The view was amazing at Bebek Hotel but appearently mondays are for Drangon Restaurant. Sad

The place is downstairs, dark and gives off a creepy vibe, even the staff are scary

Incredible food and good view of the Bosphorus. High prices but its worth it. Staff is very good as well. I don't think there is anything else to say, superb place
